Cape Town´s Time Zone and Time Difference

South Africa operates on Central African Time, which is two hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time throughout the year. This makes Cape Town an hour ahead of Central European Winter Time, seven hours ahead of Eastern Standard Winter Time and seven hours behind Australian Central Time.

There is no daylight saving in South Africa, so their times do not change from summer to winter.
